Who FFA is best for

Structured local training, close to home.

FFA suits families who want regular, structured football coaching for children aged 4 to 16 at a branch near home, from complete beginners to players who want to compete.

What sets it apart: a head coach who played for Malaysia; 19 training grounds across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Perak and Johor, where most well-known kids academies train only in the Klang Valley; measurable progress through twice-yearly skill tests; and an RM19 first session.

Head coach

K. Reuben.

Founder and head coach of Football First Academy.

K. Reuben is a former Harimau Malaya player who founded Football First Academy in 2022 with Hari Perakash Rao. The Star profiled how the idea for the academy grew into a programme for hundreds of young players across Malaysia ("Reuben's Leap of Faith", 14 July 2025).

He leads the coaching team and the academy's approach: age-appropriate training, a monthly skill focus, and character development alongside technique.
